The aim of International Council for Archaeozoology (ICAZ) working groups is to bring together people with similar zooarchaeological interests in a liberal exchange of ideas. The Archaeomalacology Working Group recognises the benefits of diversity and inclusiveness, and thus welcomes those who have an interest in any aspect of archaeomalacology. AMWG membership is not restricted to ICAZ members, however, we strongly encourage our members to join ICAZ – https://www.alexandriaarchive.org/icaz/membership-join.
How To Join AMWG
If you would like to become a member of the Archaeomalacology Working Group, please fill in the ‘questions’ form and email it to the AMWG content editor. Your e-mail will be added to our mailing list so you can receive updates on happenings within the archaeomalacological community, and details of your interests and publications (if applicable) will be integrated into this website. If you have further enquires about the Working Group and/or ICAZ, please contact the AMWG Coordinator and ICAZ liaison, Dr. Daniella Bar-Yosef Mayer.
